Super-fast SUP racing with the 12’6” Elite

If you’re getting serious about the 12’6” racing class, you’ll need a super-fast board that’s been developed to compete against the best – and win. That board is the Red Paddle Co 12’6” Elite inflatable SUP, the fastest board in its class.

The secret behind its speed is in the details. It utilises our patented RSS system, which stiffens the board so there’s no flex, a common flaw in inflatable race boards, and our patented Forward Flex Control system which stiffens the front section of the board using a carbon compression strut to remove flex that can be created in a race and channels this towards the back of the board increasing overall board speed. The two combined work together to create the fastest inflatable SUP’s currently available on the market.

The board also features double nose fins to aid tracking and displacing water from the deck of the board. The glass fibre centre fin supplied as standard gives the right amount of grip without adding drag, whilst the angled design prevents any debris from getting stuck on the fin. Multiple carry handles are included to provide fast entry and exit of the water and have been designed not to get in the way during racing. The diamond cut, Red embossed deck pad provides ultimate grip in control in all stages of a race.

The 12’6″ x 26″ Elite is designed with experienced paddle boarders in mind that want to be competing for the top step of the podium. If you are new to racing or want something slightly more stable and are willing to give up a fraction of straight line speed then the 12’6″ x 28″ Elite is a great option.

All Terrain Backpack

Take your SUP wherever you go with Red Paddle Co’s backpack. At Red Paddle Co we pride ourselves on creating an authentic paddling experience.

This means all of our kit has to perform to an exceptional standard – whether that’s on the water or when you’re travelling and transporting your board paddle and pump.

No bag existed that met our demands – so we created our own. Our solution is the world’s best inflatable SUP bag. An innovative backpack designed to make taking your board to the furthest corners of the Earth as easy as possible.

It’s made using toughened materials that can cope with sun, sea, sand and abuse. It even has a foil lining to ensure your board stays cool in extreme temperatures.

When you’re not out exploring, it serves as the perfect storage unit too.

Titan Pump

The world’s first purpose built double chamber SUP pump – designed to halve the amount of time and effort it takes to inflate you board.

It comes with almost every board in the Red Paddle Co Range. Constant innovation has meant we have tested the absolute boundaries of inflation technology and as such are confident there is nothing quite like the Titan pump.

The Dual Cylinder system combined with the Hi Flo handle allows you to put volume into your board faster and reduces the effort required to reach a higher pressure.

A revolution in pumping technology! It now comes with attachments to enable you to inflate anything from boards, to kites, airbeds and boats!

Race Fin

US Box Fins originated in the surfing world where they are widely trusted to do a great job.

These fins are inserted after inflation and simply attach using a simple nut and bolt system.

The fins are specially engineered to slice through the water and the Race fins have a 45% rake on them to ensure no weeds get caught which could slow you down.

PADDLE

The paddle is your engine and allows you to get the most from each and every outing on the water.

No matter what your budget, style or preference – there is a paddle for everyone and it’s important to consider which one you choose as it will make a big difference on performance.

Your paddle should be 6” taller than you so we have two adjuster types to make this easy for you. LeverLock’s patented technology allows you to make adjustments on the fly with one hand for maximum flexibility. The Camlock offers unrivalled grip to remove any movement or free play.

Once you add your chosen board to your basket, you get offered a choice of paddles to build your perfect package.

Accessories

Essential replacement parts and spares should you ever need them.

This includes a patch for the front and back of your board, (150mm x 150 mm), a valve tool and instructions all stored in a waterproof can.

  1. Question

    James Tonkinson

I have a 12’6″ Elite that I love. There is a bump on the underside in the area of the FFC system. Is this normal?

      Hi James,

Thank you for the question. The FFC system in the front half of the board works by putting a carbon rod under compression. The compression in the system creates a downward force onto the board. The result of this is that you will see a “bump” on the underside of the board directly beneath the FCC mounts. This “bump” will get a little bigger as the material softens up over the first few months of use. This is normal and nothing to worry about. Your board is not delaminating or at any risk of failure. Please continue to use and enjoy your board as usual.

I hope this helps and please do let me know if we can be of further assistance.

      Many thanks
      John
