Every board we make is produced in our private facility using a unique manufacturing process and it takes an average of 72 hours to create each paddleboard.
- Board Volume
How much air or space within your board and how this affects the water around your board when you stand on it. The key with board volume is knowing your weight in KG, 1KG of weight is equal to 1 cubic litre of volume.
If you weigh 80kg and you stand on an 80 litre board, the board will float just below the surface – it will have natural buoyancy but it will be very unstable – not fun.
For an all-round SUP you should be looking at around 165 litres of extra volume on top of your weight, this will give you great stability and all-round usage. So if you are 80kgs a good all round board volume is 245ltrs and a good all round length is 10’6″.
If you want a board to cover longer distances then a touring style board is a good choice. For an 80kgs rider you should be looking at a board with a minimum of 258ltrs for a touring board. You also need to consider board width.
815 Litres - Board Length
Paddle boards are typically measured in feet and inches and the length will usually be part of the board name e.g. Ride 10’6”. The board’s length, width, volume and thickness are key to choosing the right board for you. Your board needs to carry your weight efficiently, provide you with enough stability and suit the style of paddling you’re going to do. Typically, longer paddle boards are faster and shorter paddle boards are more responsive/manoeuvrable.
The shorter boards, under 10’6” are better for smaller riders (under 100kg) or for surfing. Typically, all-round boards are between 10ft and 11ft and offer great versatility and are the most popular length.
Boards over 11’ are usually classed as Touring or Race boards – these are perfect for the more experienced paddler or those looking to take their paddling to the next level. Their longer waterline(the amount of the board that is in contact with the water) makes them great high-speed cruisers. Longer touring boards are designed to be used for extended trips and these boards can be loaded up with gear, such as camping equipment or just used to get somewhere quicker and more efficiently.
Race boards measure 12’6” or 14’. They are narrow and super-stiff. There are two main divisions in SUP racing, the 12’6” and 14 ft class so first you need to decide which one you’d like to enter before choosing your board. Typically, boards over 14’ are designed for more than one rider and are called Multi Person boards.
14'0" - Board Thickness
The thickness of your board effects it’s stiffness, stability and directional control as well as the time it takes to inflate. Boards designed for manoeuvrability and all-round/first time use should be 100- 120mm / 4” – 4.7” thick. Boards designed for longer distance paddling should be 150mm / 6” thick.
8" / 200mm - Board Weight
WEIGHT-SAVING BUT STABLE – All Red Paddle Co boards are up to 2kgs lighter than our previous double layer construction.
MSL boards have a reassuring lightweight feel, but very importantly they are not too light. If a board is ultra-light it is more affected by wind and current while on the water.
20.4kg / 44.88lb
- Board Width
Width determines how stable your board is. Narrow boards are unstable and wide boards are more stable.
32” – 34” is what we recommend for an allround or for your first board.
Boards less than 32” and 10’ long are more manoeuvrable whereas longer boards less than 32” are faster but both types would be classed as more unstable than a 32” wide board
47" / 1194mm - Number of Riders
The suggested number of riders this board is designed to take, however please also refer to maximum rider weight.
Up to 4 - Bag Size
External bag dimensions. Both the All-Terrain back-pack which comes with all our standard boards and our Compact back pack can be checked in as usual checked luggage on planes (not carry on). Everything you need fits neatly into your board bag – including your Titan pump, paddle and leash plus any other essentials you might need.
No bag existed that met our demands – so we created our own. Our solution is the world’s best inflatable SUP bag, an innovative backpack designed to make taking your board to the farthest corners of the Earth as easy as possible. It’s made using toughened materials and bonded nylon sail making tread so it can cope with sun, sea, sand and rough handling. It even has a special lining to ensure your board stays cool in extreme temperatures. When you’re not out exploring, it serves as the perfect storage unit, too.

The different paddles available with this board as part of the package.
Like any Red Paddle Co product, there is a paddle to suit your riding experience. Our designers have ensured there is a paddle for all abilities and people. Ranging from the Kiddy Alloy perfect for children, to the Ultimate Carbon for those that want the absolute best. Our paddles are made using three different grades of raw materials alloy, carbon or high modulus carbon fibre, tailoring to all performers’ abilities and needs. The alloy paddles are family friendly and ideal for an entry level paddler.
The carbon paddles are perfect for any enthusiastic paddlers who are looking for a lighter shaft to increase power output and save energy. The high modulus carbon paddles are the lightest, stiffest and fastest of all. The blade material and shape are essential for any paddling experience. It is designed to deliver optimum power output with minimum drag. The tear drop blades are reinforced and sculpted for a more direct power output. Nylon blades provide maximum durability, whilst carbon blades offer increased speed and power.
The different adjustor types are key to the convenience and performance of the paddle.

Board Technology
TEC AIR: PIONEERING PADDLE BOARD DESIGN
At Red Paddle Co, we sweat the small stuff. We’re dedicated to providing you with quality, and that’s why we’re the only inflatable SUP brand that makes boards in its own private facility. We use innovative materials and manufacturing techniques to produce superior-quality products you won’t find anywhere else.
Unlike other paddle board companies out there, we never compromise on quality and innovation. We’ve taken standard inflatable technology and redesigned almost every aspect of it to deliver a truly outstanding board.
Our products are of the highest quality, offering safety and durability that you simply won’t find elsewhere. Before any of our board designs go into production, we carry out extensive research and testing to make sure your board performs when you need it to most (we even ran over one of our boards with a tractor…it was fine.) It then takes us 72 hours to make each individual board – that’s ten times longer than the industry average. This whole process is know as Tec Air and is how we refine and develop our boards at every stage of production. By focussing in on the key areas of the production process we have been able to identify ways we can improve the end result. Whether it be detailing exactly where and how the layers are bonded or how the rocker curve is applied to the board, no area of the design process is ignored.
It’s worth knowing that the key areas of construction are inside the board, two while any two boards might look the same…they can be world’s apart in how they’re constructed. Our attention to detail on the inside ensures the best experience on the outside.
MSL: THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAIL
Our exclusively-owned MSL Fusion technology provides unrivalled stiffness, weight-saving stability and a superb cosmetic finish. Together, with our patented RSS stiffening system, we make the most durable inflatable boards on the market.
MSL is recognised as the industry’s leading construction process and is exclusive to Red Paddle Co, here’s why…
A SUPERB COSMETIC FINISH – All Red Paddle Co boards have an industry-leading cosmetic finish. No wrinkles or blemishes. The boards look cleaner and smoother and even feel better to the touch.
WEIGHT-SAVING BUT STABLE – All Red Paddle Co boards are up to 2kgs lighter than our previous double layer construction. But very importantly they are not too light. If a board is ultra-light it is more affected by wind and current while on the water. MSL boards have a reassuring lightweight feel.
STIFF AT LOWER PRESSURES – Due to the Torsion Stiffness effect all Red Paddle Co boards are stiffer at lower pressures compared to other products on the market. We recommend a pressure of between 16-22psi. Less pumping and more paddling.
ENHANCED DURABILITY – The multiple-layer coating of Red Paddle Co boards is tough and durable. With our third generation of MSL material now in use, our boards are more durable than ever.

Ezee Pump
The Ezee pump has one larger cylinder for an ezee way to inflate your board. Pump volume into your board quicker with the Ezze pump. The ergonomic wide handles and feet offer ease of use and increased stability. Increased chamber diameter makes it easier to get volume into the board.

Paddle Choice
Once you add your chosen board to your basket, you’ll be offered a choice of paddles to complete your perfect package.
Our paddles are made using three different raw materials alloy, hybrid (carbon and glass fibre) or high-end carbon. The alloy paddles are family friendly and ideal for an entry level paddler. The hybrid (carbon and glass fibre) paddles are perfect for any paddlers looking for a lighter shaft to increase power output and save energy. Carbon paddles are the lightest, stiffest and fastest of all, coming with varying grades to suit.
The paddle is your engine and allows you to get the most from each and every outing on the water. No matter what your budget, style or preference – there is a paddle for everyone and it’s important to consider which one you choose as it will make a big difference on performance.
Your paddle should be 6” taller than you so we have two adjuster types to make this easy for you. LeverLock’s patented technology allows you to make adjustments on the fly with one hand for maximum flexibility. The Camlock offers unrivalled grip to remove any movement or free play.

Twin iFin
All boards in the Ride range are now integrated with two super durable, flexible iFins, making the boards straighter and faster to paddle than a three fin set-up. The iFins also provide increased agility and performance in the surf and make the board easier to pack down into its bag. No need for tools, spares or replacements, the iFins can take a beating and are super easy to reshape if they get bent.

Essential Kit
Every Red Paddle Co board comes with a handy little repair kit including some essential replacement parts and tools should you ever need them, plus a super handy water -resistant phone case to keep your phone dry during your adventures.
The repair kit includes a patch of MSL material in the appropriate colour for the front and back of your board, (150mm x 150 mm), a valve tool which can also be used to scrape off glue when repairing punctures and instructions, all stored in a waterproof can.
In the unlikely event that you need to clean or replace the valve, this can be easily done using the valve removal tool included in this kit. Check out this video below for step by step instructions on how to do this.
Essential Accessories
We prefer spending our time paddling rather than pumping so we developed the Titan Pump.
The Dual Cylinder system combined with the Hi Flo handle means you are in complete control of the time and energy required to inflate your board. It puts the volume into your board faster and reduces the effort required to reach a higher pressure.

Our feather-light Ultimate Carbon paddle has a carbon blade, carbon shaft and t-grip handle. The shaft delivers a controlled flex and maximum power transfer whilst fitting ergonomically into the hand. The paddle is perfect for anyone looking for the ultimate paddle performance in surf, touring or race conditions.
The blade has been designed with a squared shape to deliver a softer catch yet more powerful stroke. The narrower profile enables you to get the paddle closer to the board keeping the paddle more vertical, improving board tracking. It has a double concave blade face that blends nicely into a pronounced dihedral that really adds stability to the stroke eliminating blade wobble. The higher aspect design also reduces the impact on the body and allows for higher cadence without reducing the surface area.
On the power face of the blade it features a single dihedral down the middle of the blade to allow water to flow evenly off each side creating a smooth and stable stroke, enabling you to deliver more power whilst stabilising the paddle.

We bang on about this a bit, but there’s no better way to explore your world than with an inflatable SUP and the beauty of being inflatable means you can carry it in one of our SUP bags to wherever you want to explore…

A cargo net is an essential accessory if you plan to carry gear on the deck of your paddleboard. It’ll help secure it in place and keep it safe, and it comes with a handy, water-repellent, zipped pocket.

This has been designed for flat water paddlers and racers who want to make sure they are not getting any excess drag from their leash being in the water.
The leash features a interchangeable ankle or calf cuff with a quick release loop and integrated key pouch. It has a 7mm dual cord coiled leash which prevents the leash from dragging in the water plus dual pivot points to reduce twist. The leash is supplied with a length of rope so you can use with tradition leash points or can attach directly to our leash points which you can find at the back of any Red Paddle Co board.

Ideal for people that want to take their Red Paddle Co inflatable SUP’s out into the surf, this leash is packed full of features to keep you safe on the water.
The 7mm dual cord 10ft leash has two stainless steel pivot points to avoid tangling and an interchangeable heavy duty neoprene cuff which can be attached to your ankle or calf. The cuff has a loop for quick release as well as an integrated storage pouch.
At the other end there is a rail saver and a piece of string which you can use to attach the leash to any board, alternatively you can remove this and attach the leash directly to the D-ring on the back of the board.

With our paddle carry bags you can feel safe that your SUP paddles will be better protected during transportation. You can take it on as hand luggage or put it in the main hold.
We do a range of accessories to keep your paddle protected during transport. For 3 piece paddles there is a double paddle carry bag which has plenty of space for two paddles and is great for those looking to protect their paddle whilst travelling. It has an ergonomic carry handle, with the ability to attach a shoulder strap, a coiled zip to reduce snagging and our water resistant padded lining.

To ensure you get the very best out of your WindSUP we’ve developed a range of ‘Ride Rigs’ to deliver all the Red Paddle Co quality and performance in one lightweight, hassle free rig pack.
The sails come in four sizes to cater for both adults and children. The 1.5 and 2.5 rigs are perfect sails for children to get started on, whilst the 3.5 and 4.5 are ideal for teens with a little more experience, or adults taking their first steps on a windsurf board.

Designed for the younger rider this paddle has a shorter, adjustable shaft that can be extended as its owner grows or if they want to share with friends. Adjustable from 130cm to 170cm.
A reduced shaft diameter means it is nicer to use for small hands and the ergonomically designed t-grip is smaller to fit a younger paddler.
The main paddle shaft is covered in EVA foam making it more comfortable to use whilst improving grip, and the 3-piece option can easily be broken down to fit inside our Red Paddle Co board bag making it a great companion for our Snapper or 10’6″ Max Race.
