The 10'8" Ride is perfect for taking passengers

Larger riders should look for a board with more stability, which is where the 10’8” Ride comes in.

It has all the same qualities as the 9’8” and the 10’6” Ride Boards, but it’s two inches wider at 34”/863mm and has an extra 56 litres of volume, creating a more stable ride. It’s also 4.7”/120mm thick, which means you get greater stiffness at lower pressure. In fact, it’s more than 40 per cent stiffer than a standard 4”/100mm board at the same pressure. The rounded tail makes the board really manoeuvrable when you get your weight back and can be a great way to have your first SUP surfing experience.

You can easily take a small passenger on board, which is why it’s a hit with family paddlers and those with furry friends. Or with our 6 point cargo tie-down system you can easily carry a whole heap of gear with you. Supplied with our industry leading Titan pump you can inflate your board in half the time with half the effort and once you are finished paddling the board packs down neatly to fit into our all terrain backpack making transportation and storage easy.

The Red embossed deck pad offers comfort and grip and a diamond cut rear section provides even greater grip and stability when performing step back turns or during occasional use in the surf.

Whats Included with this Inflatable Sup package

All Terrain Backpack

Take your SUP wherever you go with Red Paddle Co’s backpack. At Red Paddle Co we pride ourselves on creating an authentic paddling experience.

This means all of our kit has to perform to an exceptional standard – whether that’s on the water or when you’re travelling and transporting your board paddle and pump.

No bag existed that met our demands – so we created our own. Our solution is the world’s best inflatable SUP bag. An innovative backpack designed to make taking your board to the furthest corners of the Earth as easy as possible.

It’s made using toughened materials that can cope with sun, sea, sand and abuse. It even has a foil lining to ensure your board stays cool in extreme temperatures.

When you’re not out exploring, it serves as the perfect storage unit too.

Titan Pump

The world’s first purpose built double chamber SUP pump – designed to halve the amount of time and effort it takes to inflate you board.

It comes with almost every board in the Red Paddle Co Range. Constant innovation has meant we have tested the absolute boundaries of inflation technology and as such are confident there is nothing quite like the Titan pump.

The Dual Cylinder system combined with the Hi Flo handle allows you to put volume into your board faster and reduces the effort required to reach a higher pressure.

A revolution in pumping technology! It now comes with attachments to enable you to inflate anything from boards, to kites, airbeds and boats!

The iFin System offers a high-performance while being ultra-durable.

No need for tools, spores or replacements, the iFin can take a beating and are super easy to re-shape if they get bent.

The paddle is your engine and allows you to get the most from each and every outing on the water.

No matter what your budget, style or preference – there is a paddle for everyone and it’s important to consider which one you choose as it will make a big difference on performance.

Your paddle should be 6” taller than you so we have two adjuster types to make this easy for you. LeverLock’s patented technology allows you to make adjustments on the fly with one hand for maximum flexibility. The Camlock offers unrivalled grip to remove any movement or free play.

Once you add your chosen board to your basket, you get offered a choice of paddles to build your perfect package.

Essential replacement parts and spares should you ever need them.

This includes a patch for the front and back of your board, (150mm x 150 mm), a valve tool and instructions all stored in a waterproof can.

Leashes Save Lives.

When heading out on the water it is important to always securely attach the board to you using a safe and reliable leash.

8′ Coiled Touring Leash- Reduces drag in the water and offers a more compact leash option.

Safety Note: If paddling in river currents we advise wearing only a Personal Floatation Device or a waist leash to avoid snagging on obstacles and debris.

“Beim Ride 10.8, gekauft 2015 löste sich leider die Klebefläche des umlaufenden blauen Bandes bereits 2018 teilweise. Diese von mir selbst nachgeklebten Stellen halten. Leider hatte Redpaddleco keine vernünftige Lösung angeboten. Jetzt 2019 lösten sich die restlichen noch nicht nachgeklebten Stellen. Also musste ich wieder ran.
Gott sei Dank.”

Having hired a couple of rigid boards over the last couple of years, finally decided to get a red paddle 10'8, used it last week in France for the first time. A few tried to convince me to buy an alternative brand but so pleased I didn't, the videos are fab, the product is excellent, it goes back in the bag easily and it's even easier than putting a surfboard on the roof. Their customer service is fab (especially John), their product is great and can't wait to get back on the water, only downside is I think I need to get another one and I can't decide which one !! Thanks Red Paddle

We bought the 10'8 mainly as we have two small children that we would like to take on the water and introduce them to water sports so far we all love it. My wife has never done much on the water. But she loves it also. Nice and stable and it goes along quite nicely. Easy to use and really practical to take in the car/camper. Great fun.

These Red Paddle Co boards are incredible! They are surprisingly rigid (especially when you pump them up to 21 PSI) and so much fun to paddle on.

Pumping them up is definitely a challenge, but I see it as a quick workout before my paddle boarding workout. If I push hard, I can inflate a board all the way to 21 PSI in ~4 minutes. Though to be fair, I'm 6 feet tall, 215 pounds, and lift weights regularly. My 5 foot tall, 100 pound sister could hardly even get the pump to move after 15 PSI. The good news is, if you're that light, you don't really need to inflate it beyond 15 PSI, even on the 9'8 board.

I got the Ride 10'8 and 9'8 boards. The 10'8 is so big and stable it feels like a boat. I’ve taken 2 kids (~30 pounds, ~60 pounds, and me at 215 pounds = 305 pounds!) on that board and felt solid and stable (though as I said, I usually pump them up to 21 PSI). This is also the board I use when introducing people to paddle boarding. It's great for learning the sport.

Though I'm technically over the weight limit, I actually love riding the 9'8 board. I can't take kids on it, and it's definitely less stable than the bigger board, but it's smaller and more agile, which makes it tons of fun. My 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter have also done surprisingly well learning to paddle on this board.

I’ve only paddle boarded 20-30 times, so I'm not exactly an advanced rider, but as always your mileage may vary.

Living here on the waters of the Salish Sea, in the San Juan Islands of Washington State, much of my paddling is in rougher waters that are very cold. On my 10’8” Ride, I feel very safe paddling these waters, as the board is very stable and can handle the waves. An additional benefit of this model is the carrying capacity on the bow. I am able to pack along extra clothing and other necessities in a dry bag that I secure under the front cords.
On a recent outing, I ended up paddling back down Eastsound in the dark. Staying close to the shore, I was mesmerized by the torquoise and white flashes of bioluminescence each time my paddle dipped in the water. Again, with the stability of the Red Paddle 10’8” Ride, I felt completely safe on this night time paddling adventure. I highly recommend this Red Paddle model.

I was introduced to redpaddleco through SouthWest PaddleSports in Spring, Tx. My first thought of inflatable SUP was "Hell No!" Patrick was very helpful in informing us about the redboards, and sizing the best boards for us. He rented us demos for two weekends in row to help us decide. I first tried 10.6 and my wife tried 10.8. With heavy winds on Lake Conroe, we easily managed every possible condition. Stand, Kneel, Sit, Lay down, were also very easy and comfortable positions on the 10.8 and 10.6! My wife tried the 10.6, but found the stability, surface and ease with light weight carry as the choice redboard for all our multipurpose needs! Me? I discovered the 11Sport and will write a seperate review there! Once you go MSL, you will never go back!

Having never written a review before, I find it very easy to recommend Red Paddle.
I will admit to being new to Paddle Boards, but I grew up surfing and then migrated to windsurfing where I acquired a quiver of boards and an arsenal of sails..then off to kayaking, where I hand built a "skin on frame" West Greenland kayak..so when it came time to research Paddle Boards I brought 50 years of "board" sense with me. I looked at every possible board manufacturer and every style of board. Had a realistic vision of how I would use the board (at first my 65 year old mind wanted a race board, then the explorer).
All of my research (6 months worth ) led me to RED and then I decided on the 10'8 ride. I picked the 10'8 thinking it would be an easy board to play around on and share with my wife. This is where I made a miscalculation. Once you get on a RED Paddle Board..you are not going to want to share it..
The product and the experience exceeded my expectations.
it takes less than 10 minutes to inflate ( i spent more time strapping boards/ kayaks to the roof rack).
    Bottom line, these things rock.!!

I have been using the 10'8" Ride boards for my guided sea treks in Malta since 2015 changing them every season with new ones each year and selling the used ones to my clients that benefit from the opportunity of purchasing good quality used boards. I found these board extremely durable and super stable making them so easy to use. Red Paddle Co give a brilliant after sales service and such a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.

I bought the board for a trip to Tofino BC. The main reason was portability. The board is amazing! Easy to inflate when you follow the clearly laid out instructions. Light to carry. Very stable on the water. I'm really considering selling one of my rigid boards and purchasing another Red paddle. Excellant boards! I will be purchasing another one.
